How do you import a fully developed profile into an inlet for compressible flow?

I'm trying to model compressible flow in a pipe and would like to import a fully developed profile (from another simulation) at the inlet. According to the Fluent manuals, the appropriate boundary conditions for the inlet are either the mass flow inlet or the pressure inlet. It would be really easy to do this for a velocity inlet: just export the velocity magnitude from the other simulation and import it into the new simulation). But I can't seem to do this with the mass flow/pressure inlets. I thought about exporting the mass flux profile from the other simulation but it doesn't show up as one of the variables that can be exported, so I'm all out of ideas. Is there any way to import a fully developed profile into a mass flow or pressure inlet?

whats a problem with pressure inlet BC?
you may write pressure profile from solved case and apply it as inlet BC

you may use UDF and get mass flow rate using F_FLUX macro, write it into file for each finite face of outlet and read it later

also in solved case you may use Custom Field Function and define mass flow rate there, after that you will be able to write it as profile and read as BC

Hello,

The smartest idea is, extend the inlet beyond the actual geometry. Keep the actual inlet as interior for post processing.

Keep in mind that the extension of inlet should be sufficient in length to generate fully developed flow before it reaches actual inlet.
