I have an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW edition that has 8 GB of vRAM along with an i7-6700k and 16 GBs of DDR4 memory. How many GPGPUs do I put in the GPGPU selection and how many processes do I put for the CPU Processes?
I'm on Workbench 2019 R3. |

For CPU first go to BIOS and turn off hyper-threading then set number of cores to 4 (number of real cores).

Here is my 2 cents:
1.Disable hyperthreading by going into system BIOS. 2.In the FLUENT Launcher,
Please note that enabling "GPGPUs per machine" does not necessarily speed up a calculation. It only works for some instances. In some others, such as when using SIMPLE, Fluent turns off GPU assisted acceleration by default since in this case enabling GPU assist will only slow down the computation!
