Hey All,
Another grad student and I are trying to collaborate using a mesh I made in StarCCM+ and a model he implemented in Fluent but I have been having issues trying to import the mesh in Fluent. I have tried exporting and importing the mesh as a .cgns and Tecplot .plt but get errors. I tried importing the cgns on my computer (which has plenty of RAM) with an academic license so I think it didn't work because the mesh was too large for the academic license. I then tried on our university cluster with their license and got errors (will add in the comments). The mesh is pretty large at ~170,000,000 cells which just makes it all a little more difficult. Looking for guidance on what file type works best and if I can just export the mesh from Star or if I have to export the mesh and solution for it to import properly. Thanks, Chris |
