Hello all.
I have a simulation (single inlet/outlet tube) which I run on a fine mesh. After the solution has converged, I want to interpolate these results onto a mesh with different nodes. I've seen this video which does something similar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wo59YAj-Ngk

My only issue is that this method requires you to run calculations afterwards to reach convergence on the new mesh... I don't want to continue the solution I just want to interpolate my values. The reason is my other mesh is built in a structured way, which will allow me to order the results how I want (but this mesh is not suitable for CFD).

So essentially I would like to run CFD on very fine mesh -> interpolate results onto a coarse (but ordered mesh) with nodes I have basically manually selected.

I hope this idea makes sense and I have not made a silly judgement of error. Any ideas are very welcome.

Hello,
Normally, what I do is other way around. Run on coarse and interpolate for fine mesh. I am afraid, this is how it works, after interpolation you should run the simulation to adapt the flow with the new mesh. However, it much shorter that starting the simulation from random initial conditions.
