Cyclone Pressure Drop RSM vs. Empirical

hello,
I am in the process of conducting a grid independence study using pressure drop on the cyclone model. Turbulence model RSM.

I am wondering if anyone has any recommended literature, or knowledge, of how close one may be expected to come to theoretical predictions (e.g. Shepherd Lapple for pressure drop)? And any parameters that might need to be changed to match theoretical predictions ?

Thank you
