2-way fsi 2.5d airfoil membrane

hello everyone
I am doing a two-way fsi simulation using ansys fluent and mechanical apdl. my problem is 2.5d airfoil and transient analysis used. the leading edge , lower part of middle of airfoil and small part of trailing edge are fixed and between them there is a flexible membrane. i set zero displacement in z coordinate for both symmetry plane of my geometry in structural and then define fluid solid interface. my problem is 2.5d and have only one element in z direction. i used remeshing and smoothing for dynamic mesh and set this setting for fluid: symmetry 1 and 2 > deforming membrane > system coupling rigid part (leading edge and trailing edge that fixed) > stationary the system coupling run successfully but i cant see any deformation in membrane, i changed the membrane properties but the problem still exist. Any idea about where the problem could be? If more info is needed, just ask. Thank you! |
