How to do combustion with patching temperature as ignition?

Hello there.
I am working in combustion simulation. I have been patching some region with high temperature but nothing happens.
I am using premixed-combustion by the way.

Hi, in premixed model I think you should patch the progress variable to 1, not the temperature

Hi, thank you for your reply. By the way which combustion model that using temperature to ignite?

I think the basic ones such as eddy dissipation model

Could you please explain it for little bit more about it sir?
