Hi,
I am doing CD nozzle optimisation in Fluent and it's very important that every simulation with different parameters has FMG initialization because it has the fastest convergence in my case. I am using solution steering with density based solver and it has the option to turn on FMG initialization before calculation. Problem is when I do multiple simulations with different geometry parameters, fluent just doesn't fmg initialize. I want it to set it up as calculation activity but I just can't get it working. I am using Ansys 19.2. |

Jotner,
That may be related to a bug that existed between Fluent and Workbench that was corrected in R20.1. See my post were I had a similar issue. Solution Steering not working with Workbench Design of Experiments 19.2 and 19.3 |
