pitch damping derivatives and forced oscillation technique
Hello everyone,
I am trying to predict the pitch damping derivatives of re-entry vehicle in the subsonic part of the descent. By studying all over the internet, this is an unsteady problem that can be solved by performing a Sliding Mesh or a dynamic mesh simulation (forced oscillation technique) I was wondering, however, it is possible to reach fair results with a Moving Reference Frame simulation, which is way less computationally expensive than the previous mentioned techniques. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks a lot |
