S2S radiation method info.
 

Hi, I'm trying to perform a steady state thermal simulation in Ansys Fluent. Radiative and conductive exchange must be contemplated and my domain is a solid in a vacuum environment. As for the conduction there are no problems, while for the radiation, I consider the emission of the sufraces towards the surrounding environment. I'm also interested in the Surface2Surface radiation so I'd like to know if this procedure is sufficient or I have to turn on S2S model. In this way, having a non enclosure domain, the calculation of clusters and view factors leads to an error. I should generate a surrounding fluid domain simulating vacuum to calculate them. Is this idea correct? Have you some suggestions or faster ways to solve the problem? Thank you.
