Hello,
is it possible to set a defined velocity at the outlet? I have a multiphase simulation with a fluid inlet with a defined mass flow and a pressure based inlet of air. The air gets drawn by the fluid "out of" the inlet. So the exact pressure is unkwon. Is it right too just modell it that way, then? Thanks Last edited by Maeki; April 21, 2021 at 17:54. If you actually know the velocity at the outlet, yes you can model it that way. In Fluent you use a velocity inlet. It's called a velocity inlet but it is a fixed velocity constraint.

You can assign mass flow outlet boundary condition
