Dynamic mesh , Region Face

Hello Dears

I'm trying to move a ball along an axisymmetric line in a tube as the picture attached here. in order to this I have to choose region face on remeshing tab in the dynamic mesh mode, but it doesn't work due to two quantity that we can change in deforming zone for axis

1- Minimum length scale
2- Maximum length scale

Does anyone know how I can change these value to move the ball along the centerline?

as the simulation is run I received an error like the attached picture.

can anyone help me about this problem that I face with?

Note: the two value referred above is used to increase and decrease the node on axis in front of and behind the ball.

Hi Saman95,

these two quantities are used for the remeshing routine in order to determine which elements are meant to be remeshed at every time step.

Likewise, remeshing will be applied on those cells whose element size becomes smaller than your minimum length scale and also on those cells with an element size greater than your maximum length scale. Therefore, make sure you chose valid values. A rule of thumb is computing the current maximum/minimum cell values and skewness so you can make yourself an idea on these quantities.
