Hello
I am working on a simulation using ANSYS meshing and Fluent. The problem statement is like this. I have an object within its own small control volume. I will create a bigger separate control volume in another mesh and remove the volume for the smaller control volume with the object. In Fluent, I will append the meshes. I will merge all cell zones into 1 fluid domain. I will either fuse or create interfaces at the common faces. My problem is: I need to perform studies by rotating the outer mesh upto 10 deg. I intend to rotate the mesh after importing it to Fluent by using the Translate/Rotate option available. After I rotate the outer mesh, will it still be possible to fuse the common faces even if they intersect? Is there another way to make the mesh 'modular' so that I can replace parts and rotate them as needed? |
