Unable to get correct solutions that recognize the output

Hi,

I'm new to Ansys and I would really appreciate some help!

Quick summary of problem:

I'm currently modeling a very simple pipe ( Attachment 85649 ). After calculating the solution and moving to view the solution, I am unable to get a solution that accurately depicts how the fluid would move through the pipe. It seems like it is able to recognize the inlet but not the outlet. This is the solution that I got ( Attachment 85650 ) vs what the pipe is Attachment 85651. The flow does not go through the whole pipe.

I will include a more detailed summary of the steps below, in case I'm missing a step or two.

Detailed steps and problem included below:

Geometry =
To create a better mesh I included a plane, split the body, and shared the topography. The plane was placed between the straight and curved part of the pipe. Image ( Attachment 85652 )

Mesh =
Due to the split body, the pipe had two different types of mesh. Triangular for the straight part of the pipe and quad for the curved part.

SetUp =
Viscous flow (SST K-omega)
Materials (fluid = water)
Boundary conditions (Inlet velocity = 1.524 m/s)

Calculation is run

Solution =
I used the streamline option (from inlet) to see the fluid flow. The problem I am having is being unable to see solutions that match what should actually happen.

Problem: In the solutions, it shows that the fluid does not flow through the pipe and flows just from the inlet through the straight pipe and then stops. (image = Attachment 85650 )The fluid should have continued all the way through the curve and out the outlet. (image of pipe = Attachment 85649 )

I am not sure why this is happening and where the problem lies. Any suggestions on where I might be making a mistake or any steps that I need to change?

Thanks!
