Appending a fluent mesh in a defined position

Hi!
I am simulating 2 propellers, so I have 2 meshes: one for the propeller (which I will use 2 times) and the background one which is a box.

I import the box, append the first propeller mesh, then I would like to append the second propeller mesh (which is the same as the first one) in a position (e.g. of coordinates x,y,z) that I want, and not as it is.

(I did the meshes in fluent meshing using watertight method).

Is it possible?

Thank you,
Eleonora

It's certainly possible but perhaps in a slightly different order of operations than you are thinking.

The trick is just knowing that you can move a mesh using the translate & rotate commands. There is a command that imports a mesh. And there's also a command that moves a mesh. If you use them together, you can import and move a mesh.

The most straightforward way is to import the mesh of propeller 1. Move it (translate/rotate it) to the new position (where you want propeller 2 to be). Then import propeller 1 again.

You can also import it. Move it. Save it as propeller 2. Open the original mesh and import propeller 2 in.
