Is it possible to use Fluent for a time dependent simulation in which the geometry (and meshing) changes in time? The purpose is to model a solid object transported by water through a pipe. So there will be a two way coupling between the solid object and the fluid.

Yes - for example, six degrees of freedom (for undeformable) or fluid-structure interaction (for deformable) bodies.
For the mesh - dynamic mesh or overset mesh. |
