generating report definition shows Unbound variable
 

Hello experts,

I am facing a strange issue in Ansys fluent 18. I want to monitor points for pressure data. For this i created some points on the wall. I used report definition to define the files for monitoring. I am doing unsteady simulations so unsteady data is very important for me. These files also appear in Monitor--> report-file-*** where *** is file number. When i start iterating the program stops giving, Unbound variable --Global. If I do not moniotr any point(s) the error does not appear.

one of the points you put might be outside the domain. Perhaps you are monitoring data near a wall?

yes LoGaL , all the points are on wall. Do you think it will create some problem?

You probably placed a point in the part where the mesh doesn't exist. So on the solid side ofthe wall

I think this wont be the issue. If it were, Fluent will never let me create the point at all.

I am saying this because it happened to me dude xD. You would be surprised of what fluent lets you and doesn't let you do. I bet you manually placed the points with the mouse?

xD , yeah I solely agree with you. Fluent is very unpredictable. But I gave the points with mouse.

Then believe me, one is outside the domain
