Hydrostatic pressure

Hello,

How can I make hydrostatic pressure visible in the results of Fluent?
I have a watertank, no energy model, constant density, in which I want to visualize the hydrostatic pressure. I activated gravity, set the operation pressure at zero and defined the location of the operation pressure near the top of the tank. But when I look at the absolute pressure no pressure gradient in vertical direction is visible. What am I doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong. The gauge pressure field that Fluent solves for doesn't contain any hydrostatic pressure. I know no one reads documentation or does tutorials anymore, but this topic is covered in the first set of tutorials. It's not a bug, it's a feature.

The most straightforward way is to create a custom field function and add the hydrostatic pressure to the static pressure field and then visualize this field.
