Customizing DPM sampling output
 

Hi Everyone!

I am using the sampling option of particle tracking to record the location of the released particles in my solution domain. Since, the Fluent is writing all particle information at every time step, the file gets so huge and unreadable. Is it possible to set sampling in certain frequency like each 50 time steps? I am not familiar with UDF, but I found DEFINE_DPM_OUTPUT UDF in the documentation which is the default routine for this export. would you think I can change it? Any other suggestions about possible methods for exporting like to Ensight or CFDpost is appreciated as well. Thank you!
