How to vary density, temperature and pressure in Vertical Direction

Hello everyone.

I'm trying to simulate a tower that will throw the air upward at the speed of 200m/s. I want to see how far the air particles will travel. As the air move upwards, the density, pressure and temperature of the air will change due to increase in altitude. I want add this variation of properties with altitude in my simulation.

I know i can change the operating pressure in Cell Zone Conditions but that will make the whole domain have the same pressure. I want the pressure and density to change with altitude. Can someone kindly tell me how can I achieve this?

1) You need to choose an equation of state for density that isn't constant. Go to materials, edit properties, density, and choose something appropriate. You can enter your own polynomial or choose one of the available ideal-gas variants.

2) In the general tab you need to click check box for gravity. And enter the appropriate gravitational acceleration vector.
