Baum is on a distinguished road
Hello guys,

I was wondering today whether it is possible to freeze certain equations (or all equations) in a certain part of my simulation. For example, I know that the flow at the inlet is relatively constant throughout my simulation, so calculating the transport equations in that region every iteration is just a waste of computing time. I separated the regions, but I don't know whether it is possible to disable the equations in that region alone.

I could of course separate it into a different mesh and interpolate the boundary values, but that would take some more work, which I was hoping to avoid.

Thanks!
