Thermal simulation
 

Hello everyone,

I’m studying the temperature changes of a fluid in a stirred tank. The initial temperature of the fluid is 100 C (patch option used) and the temperature of the wall (boundary condition) is constant (50 C). I would like to see the temperature profile of the fluid inside the tank.

I’ve done a steady state simulation. The moving of the impeller is done by using RFM. Can anyone help me to understand where is the problem? :confused:

In the figures there are the velocity magnitude variation due to the impeller and the temperature profile done with the same simulation. Thanks! :)
