I am engaged in the numerical simulation of milk spray drying. According to the post by Mohsin, i have cheated fluent by changing all the properties of liquid into the properties of solid calcium contained in the milk, and there are now three components in the the "mixture-template", there are n2, h2o(l), calcium, and the milk is considered to be the mixture of water and calcium. Then i open the"Creat/Edit Material”panel, turn "particle-mixture" in the "Material Type" drop-down list and "particle-mixture-template" in the "Fluent Particle Mixture Material”drop-down list. But when i edit the "Mixture species" in the "Properties" drop-down list, there is just water, none other materials, why? How can i set the component of milk?

Hello,

I have a similar problem. Fluent does not allow me to add any species to the default particle-mixture-template file or to change the mixture species.

I can create my own Mixture by loading all the separate species first, then create a mixture and edit the Mixture Species but I cannot do this for a Particle Mixture.

Does anybody know how to create my own particle-mixture-template describing a particle composed of several species? ie O2, CO, CO2, H2, H2O, CH4, N2 and C(s)
