I'm simulating boundary layer diffusion flame by species transport. I want to use Eddy Dissipation Concept as the method for Turbulence Chemistry Interaction. I am using single-step chemical kinetics of ethanol-air at various turbulence intensities. It's a single phase gas reaction.

After sufficient convergence of cold flow, when I try to ignite the fuel I get the error displayed in the image below.

I have tried increasing the error tolerance and reducing the aggressiveness factor but I still get the error and if I let the it run the flame disappears or quenches.

Am I doing something wrong in the steps or is EDC just very hard to work with?
