Mixing solid particles in water

Hello everyone!

I am trying to model adsorption of mercury in a packed bed reactor. The initial mercury concentration is low (around 500-1000mg/L) and is mixed in water. So, is it better to use discrete phase or multiphase in this case? I read in the documentation that if the mass fraction is less than 10% then discrete phase is the way but I am confused if I should the mixture model in multiphase since there's an option to choose if the secondary phase is granular.
