Battery modeling with mixture model enabled
 

Hello everyone,


I am trying to simulate the cooling of a battery by means of a fluid that undergoes a phase change from liquid to vapour. For this reason, I want to use the MSMS model for the battery and the mixture model for the two-phase flow and phase change.

I notice that in the version I am running, 2022R1 these two models are not compatible and as soon as I turn on the multiphase model the battery is turned off. On the contrary, if I run it in 2020R1 this does not happen and the modeling can be done normally.

Since I now have access to the latest version, 2022R1, I want to ask if there is a way to be able to use both of these models at the same time.
