I'm working in PMS motor. I need to find heat transfer coefficient of air gap between stator and rotor while rotor is rotating. I have made one fluid region in between stator and rotor and given solid rotation to rotor. Rotor and stator has source terms also. But it shows 0 pressure and velocity for the air gap.
Then made one MRF region around rotor and assigned as air. Given frame motion to MRF region, then it has pressure and velocity variations but heat transfer coefficient value is not convincing. Because air gap heat transfer coefficient found analytically using Taylor's correlations.
What mistake I have done, give me guidance to find heat transfer coefficient of air gap.
