Hi Everyone,
I have a system with no inlet or outlet. The simulation domain is a room. Air is pushed into the room by a fan of an AC unit. The air leaves the room through a vent. A duct loops the air back to the fan inlet. I am not concerned about the temperature field for now. I need some suggestions about how to initialize the system because running the simulation with the default hybrid initialization method fails to converge. Thank you. |

You need some idea about the flow in the domain. Then initialize the system using standard initialization with some approximate velocity or pressure. I just initialized the system with a velocity parallel to the fan inlet's normal direction and it worked.
All praise to Allah! |
