Hello, I want to simulate a gas release from a tank and I'm trying to refine the mesh within a certain velocity range. The problem is that when I define the cell register and I press "display" I can see the cells that need refining however when I press adapt the number of total cells doesn't change. I set up a minimum cell volume of 0.00001m3 and I surely got cells greater than that. If I lower the minimum volume it refines the smaller cells but not the bigger ones.
also, the cell refinement works for a while and then the cells number doesn't change like I said before. When I look at the mesh it seems that the refinement is not even, leaving bigger cells between smaller ones even if those are included in the refinement criterion. |
