Reuse Solution Data

1 Attachment(s)
Hello,
in my current setup i run a transient simulation of a flow with given boundary conditions that will create an initial stable solution. I now want to research at what pressure of the farfield the flowfield will change at a specific point.
Creating the initial solution takes a substantial amount of time - thus i want to reuse the solution gained in the first run for my next runs (and not just add a case modification to change the farfield pressure after a time - then i would need to calculate the first part over and over again).
I attached a screenshot of my current workbench setup. My issue is that when the solution is transfered from Start_pb1 (simulating the initial flow) to Rise_pb1 (simulating how it will change) it seems to override my setup (in Rise_pb1) to the ones in "Start_pb1". The problem is that Start_pb1 does not have the same input parameters (this setup is for one design point - so the pressures and the geometry is done by parameters) and does not have the UDF to stepwise adjust the farfield pressure.

In other related threads the suggestion often was to store and read the data file and not transfere the solution. Here i am unsure tho how to handle the data paths properly within the parametric changing design points (and thus changing folder names and to make sure the execution order stays correct).

So is there a elegant way to stop that the settings in Rise_pb1 is overwritten or to disconnect the solution and transfere the data only without the solution, or to overwrite the settings of Rise_pb1 after they were overwritten by the Solution of Start_pb1 to be the correct settings of Rise_pb1 again.

Thank you :)

Some more info to my issue: When i double-click the solutions in rise_pb1 and rise_pb2 to start the fluent gui and do nothing else then pressing calculate it works. If i try e.g. to right click update or use update design point it will fail.
Update failed for the Solution component in Rise pb2. Update of the Solution component in Rise pb2 did not mark the component as updated due to a change made to the Setup component during the update.
This is the error that appears basically every time, when i try right click update manually the error is divergence detected in amg solver - but only with right click - not in the gui.
I tried setting it up in a new project / restarts of workbench and my pc. So im really not sure what to do with a simulation that runs when i press calculate but not when i press update.
