Modelling droplet deformation

Hi,
I am trying to simulate a droplet going through an airflow and assess its breakup. I was able to do a few runs and get the droplet to deform properly, but I had to restart the entire thing now, and I am no longer able to get it to deform for some reason. I am using PISO VOF-compressive scheme, with a laminar viscous model (due to low Re), with a max of 100 iterations/time step. I added in the implicit body force and continuum surface force modelling, but as my droplet moves due to gravity and the airflow, it remains in its original circular shape.
Does anyone have an idea as to what it could be that I should look into.
