Hello teachers and seniors!
I need to simulate the drying process of a porous medium and I am having some problems. The model is very simple, a vertical channel from top to bottom, with a certain thickness of porous media located in the middle of the channel, hot air blowing from the top to the bottom, which has a certain temperature, humidity, speed, while the porous media also has a certain moisture content.
I need to simulate the drying of a porous medium under hot air with different temperatures and velocities, and investigate the changes in temperature and moisture content of the porous medium during the drying process. Should I add an energy source term and a component (h2o) source term at the porous medium or use UDF or UDS, and if so, how should I add the source terms? Do you have any suggestions? What model should I use?
I don't know if what I said up there is correct. and I would appreciate your guidance!
If you have modeling information, you can share it in my email, thanks!
