Helppp!! Conjugate Heat Transfer Problem
2 Attachment(s)
Hi everyone, im a student doing my final year project, which involved investigating how different types of material and wind speed impact conjugate heat transfer. i was tasked to run a experiment which uses a open looped wind tunnel with a heating plate, i would then use ANSYS Fluent and compared the results.
The experimental's heating plate (0.127 x 0.127 m) has a 240 VAC, 450 Watt which has heat flux of around 27900 W/m2 and also includes a safety feature when it reach 150 degree c, the heat flux cuts off. In the simulation, i have used transient with 600 time steps where i only analysis the results up to when the temperature have reached 150 degree c. however comparing with the experimental set up, the results are off, one possibility i have notice from the contour plots is no conduction in the solid domain and i dont understand why is it like that. is it because of my settings? Please help me. Attachment 99379 Attachment 99378 |
How are you applying the heat flux? Which solids are you not seeing conduction? I only see one solid in the picture
