Hello, I am having issues with my CFD attempt. I am using Ansys Fluent Student edition 2024 R1. I have tried multiple youtube tutorials as well as asking some of my professors but am unable to find a solution to my problem. It gives me the error saying "Divergence detected in AMG solver
ressure coupled.". I have tried improving my mesh as well as lowering the Under-Relaxation factors to no avail. I am attaching my mesh statistics and the geometry. I am also adding the console logs as a part of this post It's a 2D axisymmetric simulation with inlet velocity of 50 m/s (although I did attempt 10 m/s too). My mesh metrics are as follows Max Aspect Ratio: 2.05 Min Element Quality: 0.43896 Max Skewness: 0.55119 Min orthogonal quality: 0.7162 I am under time constraints so any expedited help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance. |

All I had to do was rotate my model 90 degrees so that the axis aligned with the x-axis in ansys. Found it out by troubleshooting and experimenting with a different geometry. Hope this helps for anyone else who has this problem in the future.
