Hi everyone,
I'm fairly experienced in CFX, but struggle a bit to find a proper way to monitor the forces that are acting on a fan that is modelled as a source term volume. The source term is already expressed as a N/m3, but I expect the forces to actually be varying due to the instabilities in the air, like shown in the monitor. I would really like to just monitor it the same way as I do it in CFX, in transient - the sum of all forces acting on the source term subdomain/zone. There I can simply pick the source component from a predreefined monitors, but I assume I have to specify this in Fluent somewhere? When setting up a force monitor in Fluent, I am so far only able to select faces, but not for the "volume zone" entirely. Should it be solved by some (volume) integral perhaps? Appreciate any directions here. |
