Hello, esteemed members. I am a beginner in CFD, still in the early stages of learning. Currently, I am working on the simulation of a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) using ANSYS Fluent. I understand that Fluent provides built-in capabilities for hydrogen fuel analysis, but when using ammonia as a fuel, it is necessary to define multiple reactions using UDF.
To achieve this, I believe I need to write UDFs for the following aspects: 1. Ammonia reforming reaction (thermal decomposition, endothermic reaction) 2. Reaction rate model (Arrhenius equation) 3. Heat transfer effects due to ammonia reforming 4. Nitrogen diffusion and flow behavior However, I am unsure how to implement these in Fluent and where to find the relevant information. I feel quite overwhelmed at this point. If anyone has experience with similar simulations or has worked on ammonia fuel modeling, I would greatly appreciate any guidance, tips. Thank you in advance for your help! |
