Hello everyone,
I am modelling water flowing from a pipe into a cylindrical vessel and then it comes out of a pipe with the same diameter as the inlet pipe. Soo far I have been using a simple turbulent viscous k-epsilon model to see how the particles behave inside the vessel. (Path lines particle ID) I need to find the Residence time distribution from this model, to compute the average time a particle spends inside the vessel to then input in a mathematical model. I have found a previous thread but I am not sure how much that can be applied to this model, could anyone please guide me? PREVIOUS THREAD : need tutorial guide of residence time of tracer Thank you for your help in advance. |
