soki74 is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I am running an axisymmetric simulation with 6DOF dynamic mesh. I am defining an external force with an UDF. The results are not what I expect, and I was wondering if I am setting the parameters correctly.

According to the Fluent Customization Manual (https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/Views/Se...1-4200003.12.3), in case of a half model, the symmetry plane should be defined in the 6DOF UDF, and the parameters (such as mass) given for the whole model. What's the case for 2Daxi? Do I need to define the axis of symmetry? Divide/multiply my mass or force by pi?

Thank you in advance.
