Hello,
I am a newbie to fluent but new to cfd. I have run many other cfd packages but I have to say that ansys fluent file management is very confusing to me. I ran a simulation for awhile. In WB, when I click on Setup, it says all data isn up to date and no attention is required. Then when I try to open solution it says: "Upstream data for this cell has changed. Do you want to refresh this cell using upstream ....". It does not seem to matter whether I click yes, no or cancel. Let us say I want to continue the simulation with a change in BC. Do I need ot go back to the Setup module or can i just change it in the solution module ? I do not want to re-initialize but just continue the solution. I am using 2025 R1. Thanks |
