Hi all,
I am trying to simulate coal combustion model, wherein I am using species transport for reaction kinetics and discrete phase model for particle injection using combustion particle type.

My doubt is how to simulate heterogeneous reactions like C<s> + H2 --> CH4, how to implement carbon in solid phase. I tried carbon as solid species in species mixture.

But no matter what, the DPM C concentration (under discrete phase variables) is always zero and hence the heterogeneous reaction rate is also zero. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance.
