Hi

I am using ANSYS Fluent (Linux version). How to set the automatic export in the journal file using text user interface commands.

I found this way which helped me

/file/transient-export ascii ./file_dir surface_name () pressure density temperature () yes no yes "flow-time" 0.5 flow-time 4


## take care of spaces between words
## () is necessary and means no more surface or variables.

You can put surface name inside the parentheses as well

Something like this (surface-name)
or with wildcard (*) <—- will select all available surface/plane
or like this (ns_inlet*) <—- select surface with prefix ns_inlet
