Default fluent transient simulation control

Does Fluent v5 has a capability to automatically control the time step sizes in a transient simulation?

I know FIDAP can do this, FIDAP postprocessing allows you check your solutions at any time, not limited by the solution time steps.

It seems Fluent is kind of strict on this...
