Default Solving energy and flow together or not!

Hello all, I am confused about the solution algorithm in Fluent. There is segregated/coupled option. In addition, in the solution controls menu you can solve one transport equation at a time (i.e. you can solve flow equation first and energy equation later). What is the difference of solving them together or seperately in segregated solver? Thanking you in advance Ilkay
