UDF

Hi! I want to define a UDF for my problem. FLUENT 5.3 is here installed on windows 2000. Also I have visual C++ installed on my PC. Do I define a compiled or an interpreted UDF?

Re: UDF

Check the Frequently asked questions for Windows NT page on the www.fluentusers.com website. It should have all the information you need. Also, you should check with Fluent as to whether windows 2000 is currently supported...I suspect it may not be as yet. In general, a compiled UDF will run much faster than an interpreted UDF. So if you already have the compiler, it might be worth using compiled rather than interpreted UDFs.
