I want to know more about User Defined Function in Fluent, especially about defining new scalar. i want to solve my own equation. 1. Is it possible for me to use my own user defined function?. Does Anyone can help me?? If you've the example, i would appreciate it very much best regard Harry

It is theoretically possible to use your own equation accordindly to the manual. I haven't tried this, but you will need to pregramme in Fortan or compatible.

it's actually really possible to define lots of equations by yourself. I'm doing that for most of my calculations but you need to do C programs, at least if you're running Fluent v5. Fortran programming is for Fluentv4.

Anyway it's not easy first time. The most difficult thing is to find the name of the pointer for the variable that you want to use. You should contact your support for that.
