Default Convergence problem

HI friends,

I am working on laminar flow over vertical plates and i am interested in studying the effects of surface tension on the hydrodynamics.I am using the VOF multiphase model for my analysis.I am facing problems with convergence when i give high values of surface tension. So, i tried to simulate the problem for low values of surface tension and then feed this converged solution as the initial flow field for the next higher value of surface tension and then run the simulation.I got the results for surface tension values upto 0.003 N/m. But, this method is not working for other values of surface tension parameter. Can u pls suggest a way to overcome this difficulty. Will there be any problem with the grid which i think is doubtful?Pls reply.

Thanks in advance,

With regards,

Praveen.
