Hi,

I am working on CFD in stirred tanks.

I want to write grid data (node coordinates) to a file in almost the same way as it appears in:

set-up1 ---- list-node coordinates

Also, how do I write velocity data to a file (in the same format as it appears in :

main ------- view alpha------ select variables------ u-velocity

)

Regards,

Mehul

Try export the data to formats like tecplot, it allows you to export data in ascii format for coordinates as well as velocity components.

if you want to know more about file arrangement in fluent, read fluent manual. try to write case file and data file in ascii format (in fluent file write, deselect write in binary sign). then you can read that file using notepad or wordpad, or maybe manipulated in in format you want
