I would like some information about the calculation of the heat flux for turbulent flow at a boundary. Eq.6.13-13 in the FLUENT manual describe the heat transfer (flux) when the flow is laminar. Do anyone know the explicit formula for turbulent flow.

Please take a look at Eq.(9.7-5) in Volume 2. Its the temperature law of the wall. What it does is:
- When a wall temperature (T_w) is given, it gives the wall heat flux (q"). - When wall heat hlux is specified, it gives the wall temperature. |
