Discrete Phase
Hello , I'm using Fluentv5 to model ceramics particles in-flight in thermal spraying. I'm using the two ways coupling but I don't see any influence on my continuous phase and I know I should. Is there any minimum mass flow of discrete phase to enable the two ways coupling?
Thanks for help |
Re: Discrete Phase
Dear Alice
Continuouse phase hardly affected by discrete phase if solid mass flow rate is less than 20% of gas mass flow rate. So, in general, when SOLID_mas/GAS_mas (ratio of mass flow rate) is less than 0.2, one way coupling may be applicable. Sincerely, Jinwook |
