Multiple fluids

I have a heat exchanger system in which hot water exchanges heat with a blowing cold air (ex: radiator). How can I use FLUENT software to consider two seperate moving fluids i.e, two inlets and two outlets.

Thanks

Re: Multiple fluids

Version 4.x of FLUENT cannot do this, but 5.x can.

Re: Multiple fluids

Is that mean I can have two fluids, with two seperate inlets & outlets in my single model? I already have 5 x

Re: Multiple fluids

you definitely can have more than 1 fluid with more than 1 inlet & outlet.you may try to specify the boundary conditions of your inlet & outlet by using gambit. However,if i'm not mistaken you may only specify a boundary condition to a surface.you cannot specify 2 or more boundary condition to a surface(e.g. you cannot specify velocity inlet & pressure inlet at the same face simultaneously)

Can anyone tell .How to introduce two different fluids with different velocities in FLUENT 12.0 . I have two two inlets and one outlet.

Thank you.
